The Bird House is a comfortable two bedroom, two bath 1400 square foot home. It is situated on a 1/2 acre garden lot with a view of the waters of East Sound.
You are just a short walk to Cresent Beach to see the wild life or rent a kayak for a peaceful paddle. Fifteen minutes of walking and you're in "down town" Eastsound. You can get to Orcas Center for top notch entertainment, the Farmer's Market, Seaview movie theater, the grocery store or a wonderful selection of restaurants or shops in no time. It's only a 5 minute walk to the convenience store and
a short drive to Moran State Park. There's a new Land Bank walking
trail just around the corner.
The family room, attached to the roomy and serviceable kitchen, is replete with a cozy propane stove and television with DVD/VCR (no channels). A collection of movies, games, magazines and books await you. There's a stereo with CD or iPod dock for your listening pleasure.
The living room and dining area have picture windows looking over part of the extensive yard and across to the water of the sound.
The king room looks out over the rear garden and has a large master bath with a wonderful mirrored vanity for wedding or special event preparations.
The cozy queen room has a full bath attached.
The garden, which used to supply flowers to the local church, has flowers for you to cut and enjoy in season, a propane BBQ, comfortable outdoor furniture and room for the kids to run. The yard is fully fenced.
